Making Your Own Biodiesel
PCBC won't be producing commercial biodiesel for sale to the public; but, we will be teaching folks how to make it.
There are three ingredients to making biodiesel- vegetable oil, methanol, and lye. Most small-scale producers use waste vegetable oil from restaurants, which keeps the costs low. Farmers also have the option of growing oilseed crops, crushing the seeds, and extracting oil from there.
We will have a calendar of events and trainings shortly.
More info about small-scale producing your own biodiesel from vegetable oil can be found on the web:

In the future, Park Biofuels will be working on serving this group through education, equipment and supplies, and sage waste by-products disposal.
