Restaurants in Livingston provide the biofuel!
We are collecting used vegetable oil from restaurants in Livingston. Currently Used Cooking Oil from these restaurants is recycled into local fuel:
SlackKnuckle, - This neuvo-classic place is famous for sliders and fried food, that means a good supply of Sysco Fry-On!
The Stockman- This Old Classic downtown eatery changes oil super-regularly, once per week; you can taste it.
Fiesta en Jalisco - The downtown Mexican restaurant fries their own chips and salad bowls, among others, and puts the UCO in a 55 gallon barrel out back. Easy, clean pickup.
The Twin Dragons - The chinese are good producers of oil as well, taste it inside.
The Wilsal Cafe- 30 miles north of Livingston, Sean, the owner runs a great outfit, gets a lot of his food & supplies locally, and passes on his used veg oil for local recycling as well. On the west side of the road, in the middle of Wilsal, can't miss it.
The Sport- the new owner, Chuck, has remodelled this beatup old bar into a schwanky new place. They don't fry a whole lot, but they hook us up with a 35 gal drum out back.
Z-bar- The new restaurant in the Z -bar has saved and donated big volumes- way to re-use, fellas!
Do you need vegoil for use directly in a diesel, or to make biodiesel out of? These folks provide plenty, get a hold of me. PCBC serves as a central point for the organization of waste vegoil recycling.
From the standpoint of the restauranteur, the regularity of the collection of their waste oil is vital. These people want the alley behind their joint clear and clean. Folks claiming to collect oil from a certain place need to collect it regularly. None of this-"Oh, well I didn't need any oil from there this week ..." Likewise, any barrel or bucket system to collect oil needs to not leave a mess. My pumping system is messy; so I lay down cardboard.
